The removable top lid is the large cast iron cover that sits on top of the Olymberyl Aidan and can be lifted off to expose the hot plate surface beneath. The matt finish version replaces a damaged or pitted lid that has lost its surface integrity. At over 13kg it is a substantial cast iron component designed to retain heat for room warming and cooking.
