The top blanking plate seals off the unused flue outlet on the Olymberyl Aidan when the stove is configured for rear flue exit. It prevents cold air from entering the firebox through the top opening and ensures the stove draws correctly from the active flue connection. Replace it if the plate is warped, corroded, or no longer seals the opening cleanly.
