Rear vermiculite fire brick set for the Hi-Flame Alpha 2 (AL907) stove. The rear brick lines the back wall of the firebox, protecting the steel body from direct flame contact and reflecting heat back into the combustion zone. Bricks crack over time through thermal cycling and need replacing when they break apart or crumble significantly.
