The fire fence for the Hi-Flame Alpha 3 sits inside the firebox and stops logs from rolling forward against the door or glass during use. It takes a lot of heat and can warp or break over time, especially with solid fuel. Replacing a damaged fire fence protects the door glass and prevents accidental contact with burning fuel.
