The glass seal on the Hi-Flame Alpha 3 runs around the inside of the door frame and keeps combustion gases contained within the firebox. When the rope compresses, hardens, or crumbles, air leaks past the glass, causing the stove to overfire and blacken the glass. This kit gives you everything needed to reline the channel and restore a proper seal.
