The non-boiler grate frame in the Hi-Flame Alpha 3 stove forms the lower firebox structure in the dry (non-boiler) variant, supporting the inner grate and fuel bed and channelling primary air through the base of the fire. Extended use at high temperatures causes cast iron to fatigue, and a cracked frame needs to be replaced to maintain safe and efficient operation. This part is made to the original Alpha 3 non-boiler dimensions.
