The fire fence in the Hi-Flame Alpha Inset Boiler (357i) is a cast iron guard that sits across the front of the grate, stopping burning logs from rolling forward and contacting the door glass. It takes constant thermal stress and can crack or warp with prolonged heavy use. This is the correct replacement part for the boiler variant of the Alpha Inset.
