The flue collar on the Hi-Flame Alpha Inset (357i) non-boiler connects the top of the firebox to the flue liner, channelling exhaust gases out of the room. Corrosion or physical damage at this connection point can allow flue gases to escape before they reach the chimney. This is the correct replacement collar for the non-boiler version of the Alpha Inset.
