Replacement cast iron spin valve for the Horse Flame Baldemar HF517 stove. The spin valve is fitted to the stove door and adjusts the volume of primary air entering the firebox. Rotating the valve controls the combustion rate during operation. Valves can seize with heat scale or crack after prolonged use at high temperatures.
