This is the cast iron flue blanking plate for the Blacksmith Anvil stove, supplied with fixing screws. The Anvil stove has both a top and a rear flue outlet, and only one is used at a time. The blanking plate seals off whichever outlet is not connected to the flue pipe, preventing heat loss and keeping combustion gases in the correct path.
