The ash pan for the Blacksmith Forge stove collects ash that falls through the grate bars during burning, keeping the base of the firebox clear and maintaining good airflow. When the pan warps or corrodes to the point where it no longer fits or empties cleanly, it needs replacing. This is the correct pan for the Forge model.
