This heavy-duty cast iron baffle plate is designed specifically for the Blacksmith Forge stove. Also referred to as a throat plate, it plays a critical role in maintaining combustion efficiency by preventing heat from escaping directly up the flue.

By slowing the flow of hot gases, it improves heat retention in the firebox, protects internal components, and helps prevent overfiring. A cracked or warped baffle plate should be replaced promptly to restore your stove's performance and protect it from damage.
