Glass rope seal kit for the Blacksmith Harness stove. The rope seal sits in the channel between the ceramic glass panel and the door frame, preventing combustion gases from escaping around the glass edge. When the rope becomes compressed or crumbles, the glass seating becomes loose and hot gases can bypass the glass entirely.

The adhesive bonds the rope into the glass channel and the end tape produces a neat join. Replacing the glass rope at the same time as the glass itself is recommended to ensure a complete seal.
