Primary air control spin valve for the Blacksmith Harness stove. This cast iron disc mounts on the front door and rotates to open or close the primary air intake, letting you control burn rate and heat output. Replace it when the valve becomes stiff, worn, or damaged and no longer holds a set position.

Compatible with: Blacksmith Harness stove

🔧 Specifications

  • Material: Cast iron, matt black finish
  • Heat resistance: up to 650°C
  • Part type: Spin valve / primary air controller

The spin valve is your main tool for managing combustion. A correctly functioning valve lets you slow down a fast-burning fire or open up airflow when lighting. A worn valve that sticks open wastes fuel and risks overfiring; one that sticks shut makes lighting difficult and reduces heat output.
