The L bracket and screw secures the front fire bricks inside the Elessar firebox, stopping them from tipping forward when the door is opened. If the bracket is lost or the screw strips, the front bricks become unstable and can fall against the door glass or out of the firebox. This is the correct replacement bracket and screw for the Elessar.
