The grate frame on the Hi-Flame Graphite 5902 is the outer cast iron carrier that positions the inner grate within the firebox and supports the fuel bed. It takes sustained thermal stress throughout its working life and will eventually warp or crack, causing the grate to sit unevenly and disrupting combustion airflow. This replacement restores correct fitment.
