The spin valve is the circular primary air control located on the door of the Hi-Flame Graphite 8. Rotating it adjusts the airflow into the firebox, controlling the burn rate. Over time the valve can seize, crack, or become difficult to turn due to corrosion or heat damage, requiring replacement to restore proper air control.
