The boiler inner grate for the Hi-Flame Graphite Inset Boiler sits inside the grate frame and holds the fuel directly above the ashpan. It is one of the highest-wear parts in the firebox and should be inspected at the start of each heating season. Replacing a worn or broken inner grate restores proper air flow beneath the fuel bed and keeps combustion stable.
