The back brick for the Hi-Flame Graphite Inset stove sits at the rear of the firebox, protecting the back wall from direct flame contact and reflecting heat forward. This is a cast iron component designed to fit the Graphite Inset precisely. Replace it when it shows signs of significant cracking or has broken away in sections.
