The glass seal kit for the Hi-Flame Graphite 5902 Inset Convector replaces the flat fibreglass rope that holds the stove glass panel in place. A deteriorated glass seal allows air bypass around the glass, reducing airwash effectiveness and causing the glass to soot up more quickly. This kit includes flat fibreglass rope, thermic adhesive, and sealing tape.

The glass seal keeps the stove glass firmly bedded in its frame. A secure seal means the airwash system can do its job properly, directing air across the inside of the glass to keep it clear during burning.
