The glass rope seal sits between the stove glass and the door frame, creating an airtight barrier that keeps smoke inside the firebox and prevents excess air from entering. When the rope compresses or burns through, the seal fails and you may notice smoke leaking into the room or difficulty controlling the burn rate. This kit contains everything needed to replace it in one job.

The flat rope profile is designed to seat flush under the glass retaining clips, ensuring an even, consistent seal across the full perimeter of the glass panel. The thermic adhesive bonds the rope in place during installation.
