Door rope seal kit for the Hamco Glenbarrow stove. Includes high-temperature fibreglass rope, thermic adhesive, and end sealing tape. The rope seal beds into the groove around the door frame and creates an airtight joint between the door and the stove body. Replace when the rope becomes compressed, frayed, or the seal is visibly letting air past.

The door rope seal is one of the most commonly replaced stove parts. A degraded seal allows uncontrolled air into the firebox, which disrupts combustion control, causes overfiring, and can allow smoke to escape into the room. Replacing the seal restores an airtight door closure and accurate control of the burn rate via the air vents.
