The door handle set for the Hamco Glendine consists of a chrome knuckle lever and a heat-resistant plastic grip. The plastic grip is the part most likely to fail first, cracking or discolouring from heat exposure. When the handle becomes difficult to operate or no longer holds the door firmly shut, the stove loses its ability to seal correctly and burn efficiently.
