The door catch on the Henley Aran stove is the latch mechanism that holds the door firmly closed during operation. When the catch wears, bends, or the spring loses tension, the door may not close fully, which allows uncontrolled air into the firebox and can cause the stove to overfire. Replacing a faulty catch restores a secure seal.
