The tertiary air baffle plate for the Horse Flame Baldemar stove serves a dual role: it deflects combustion gases back through the firebox to maximise heat extraction, and it incorporates the tertiary air channel that introduces preheated air for cleaner secondary combustion. Replacing this part when it becomes cracked or warped restores both functions.
