The side fire brick set for the Horse Flame Baldemar replaces the left and right firebox liners that protect the stove's side panels from direct heat. These bricks degrade gradually through repeated heating and cooling cycles, and should be inspected each season. This set is sized for the Baldemar's firebox and does not require modification to fit.

Replacing worn side bricks on the Baldemar prevents heat from reaching the steel body panels, which reduces the risk of warping and keeps the stove's combustion chamber properly insulated. Fit these during annual servicing or when cracks are visible across the brick faces.
