This is the complete grate assembly for the Horse Flame Elessar, combining the outer carrier frame and the riddling bar set in one purchase. It replaces the entire base grate structure when both components are worn or when the frame itself has cracked or distorted. The riddling bars allow ash to be shaken down through the grate without disturbing the fuel above.

The grate frame carries the weight of the fuel load and channels air up through the fire. When the frame cracks or the bars wear thin, combustion efficiency drops and the stove can become difficult to control. Replacing the whole assembly at once saves labour compared to replacing frame and bars separately at different times.
