This is the fire fence bar for the Horse Flame Pony stove. It sits at the front of the firebox and holds fuel in place when the door is opened for loading. Cast iron bars on compact stoves like the Pony are subject to warping over time from the concentrated heat in a small firebox.

The fire fence bar keeps burning logs behind the door opening when you add fuel, preventing hot material from dropping onto the hearth. A bent or broken bar creates a gap that makes the stove unsafe to load. This replacement part fits directly into the original mounting points on the Pony stove.
