These are the side fire bricks for the Horse Flame Windsor stove. They line the inside walls of the firebox and protect the stove body from direct flame contact. The Windsor runs at higher temperatures than most room-heater stoves because of the boiler demand, so the side bricks can wear more quickly and should be inspected regularly.
