Hunter Herald 14 Upper Grate Bar

This replacement cast iron upper grate bar fits the Hunter Herald 14 and Inglenook High Output. Also known as a small-end or high-lift bar, it has a smaller hook and sits higher on the shaker bar. Supplied individually.

These stoves use both upper and lower grate bars. The quantities above cover the upper bars only.

The Herald 14 grate bar design changed around 2007/2008. If your stove still has the earlier, longer bars, you will need to replace the complete set with the newer bars rather than replace a single bar.

🔥 Why replace your grate bar?

A cracked or distorted bar can leave a gap in the fuel bed or make the grate difficult to riddle. Replace worn bars to support the fuel and help ash fall into the ash pan. Check the length and hook shape against your existing bar before ordering.
