The glass seal on the Lilyking 629 runs around the inside of the door frame between the door glass and the metal surround, keeping combustion gases inside the firebox and preventing smoke from escaping around the glass panel. The fibreglass rope seal compresses and hardens with age and needs periodic replacement to maintain a proper seal. This kit includes high-temperature fibreglass rope, thermic adhesive, and end sealing tape.
