This side fire brick set for the Lilyking 629 replaces the vermiculite panels lining both sides of the combustion chamber. Side bricks protect the stove walls and help direct heat towards the centre of the firebox for a more efficient burn. They wear down gradually with use and should be replaced when cracked or breaking apart.

Remove the fire fence and top baffle before fitting. The side bricks slot in against the stove walls. Keeping all four side bricks in good condition ensures even insulation on both sides of the firebox and prevents uneven heat distribution.
