The L bracket on the Mulberry Beckett locates and retains the front fire bricks in position at the base of the firebox. Without it, the front bricks can shift during burning and expose the base of the stove to direct flame, accelerating wear to the firebox floor. This kit includes the bracket and fixing screw.

The bracket screws into the base of the firebox and the bent foot holds the front fire brick in line. Keeping the fire bricks correctly located improves heat distribution inside the firebox and extends the life of surrounding components.
