The spin valve on the Olymberyl Olive is a circular rotating disc fitted in the stove door that controls primary air intake into the firebox. Turning it open or closed lets you regulate heat output and burn rate. Over time the disc can seize, warp, or lose its tension, making accurate air control difficult.

Compatible with: Olymberyl Olive HFB243B

🔧 Specifications

  • Weight: 0.33 kg
  • Material: Cast iron
  • Heat resistance: 650°C
  • Part number: HFB243-20
  • Part type: Spin valve / primary air control

Good primary air control is key to burning efficiently and safely. A worn or seized spin valve makes it harder to reduce air intake when the stove reaches operating temperature, which can lead to over-burning and unnecessary fuel consumption.
