The grate frame for the Olymberyl Baby Gabriel is the outer cast iron carrier frame that sits at the base of the firebox and supports the riddling grate. Without a sound grate frame, the riddling mechanism cannot work correctly and the fuel bed loses its stable base. This part is also shared with the Gabriel, Palladin, Victoria, and Olive models.

The stove must be fully cooled and emptied before the grate frame can be removed. Take out the fire fence and all inner components first, then lift out the old frame. This is a more involved repair than swapping the inner riddling grate.
