The front fire bricks on the Olymberyl Maximus sit at the front of the combustion chamber, framing the fire opening. They take direct heat from the burn and need replacing when cracked or broken to prevent heat escaping in the wrong direction and to protect the surrounding metalwork.

Front bricks also serve as part of the visual and structural frame of the fire opening on the Maximus. Keeping them intact maintains both the appearance and function of the stove's firebox. These are cut to the Maximus dimensions and fit without modification.
