The glass rope seal runs around the perimeter of the viewing window, creating an airtight joint between the glass and the door frame. As the flat rope compresses and degrades over time, air bypasses the primary air vent and enters around the glass, disrupting burn control and potentially causing the glass to overheat. This kit includes flat fibreglass rope, thermic adhesive, and end sealing tape.
