The baffle plate for the Olymberyl Victoria (New Version) is a cast iron throat plate that sits above the firebox and deflects heat back into the combustion chamber. If yours is cracked, warped, or corroded, heat loss increases and the secondary burn process is disrupted. This is a direct-fit replacement for the newer Victoria model.

The baffle plate works by slowing the movement of hot gases through the firebox, giving the fuel more time to combust fully before gases enter the flue.
