The glass seal kit provides a flat rope seal that fits between the stove glass and the door frame, creating an airtight joint. Over time this seal flattens and loses its ability to hold a tight fit, allowing excess air into the firebox and potentially causing smoke leakage around the glass. This kit contains everything needed to replace the seal on the Hi-Flame Precision I stove door glass.
