The front fire brick on the Hi-Flame Precision III (HF910) lines the lower front section of the firebox, providing insulation and protecting the stove body from direct heat. It is a single vermiculite brick cut to the Precision III specification. Replace it when cracks become significant or the brick starts to break apart.
