The ash pan on the Hi-Flame Precision I (HF905) sits beneath the carrier frame, catching ash that falls through the grate during and after burning. A damaged or missing ash pan makes emptying the stove messy and can allow ash to build up under the grate, restricting the primary air supply. This replacement restores tidy and straightforward ash removal to the stove.
