The door rope seal wraps around the perimeter of the Hi-Flame Precision II stove door and creates the airtight joint between the door and the stove body. A compressed or deteriorated rope allows uncontrolled air into the firebox, which can cause overfiring, higher fuel consumption, and smoke escaping around the door. This kit contains everything needed to replace the seal.
