The inner grate is the circular cast iron component that sits at the centre of the firebox, supporting the fuel bed and allowing spent ash to fall through. The Precision II uses a 180mm diameter circular inner grate with no riddle arm attachment. When this part warps or breaks, airflow through the fire is reduced and combustion suffers.
