The fire fence on the Hi-Flame Precision III (HF910) sits inside the firebox and prevents logs from rolling forward against the door or glass during a burn. It is a cast iron component that takes sustained heat over years of use and may eventually warp or crack. This is the genuine replacement fire fence for the Precision III.
