The glass seal on the Hi-Flame Precision 5902 Convector runs around the perimeter of the stove glass, holding it airtight against the door frame and preventing smoke from escaping around the edges. Once the flat fibreglass rope compresses or degrades, excess air enters and smoke can leak into the room. This kit contains everything needed to replace the glass seal cleanly.
