The glass flat rope seal kit for the Hi-Flame Precision Inset provides all the materials needed to re-seal the stove glass within the door frame. The kit contains premium flat fibreglass rope, thermic adhesive and end sealing tape to prevent fraying. A deteriorated glass seal allows excess air into the firebox and can cause the stove to overfire.

The glass rope seal cushions the ceramic glass against the metal door frame and prevents air infiltration around the glass perimeter. Replacing this seal whenever the glass is removed is good practice and significantly extends the life of the glass by preventing vibration and direct metal-to-glass contact.
