This replacement flue baffle plate, also known as a throat plate or boiler cleaning plate, is designed to suit the Stanley Tara stove. Positioned at the back of the fire chamber, the cast iron baffle deflects flames and hot gases back into the stove for a secondary burn, improving heat retention and fuel efficiency. A warped or broken baffle can significantly reduce your stove’s performance.
