The side brick retainer set for the Blacksmith Harness stove keeps the vermiculite fire bricks pressed firmly against the firebox walls during use. Without functioning retainers, bricks can slide or tip inward, interrupting combustion and exposing the stove body to direct heat. This steel retainer set is a low-cost fix that prevents much more expensive damage further down the line.
