Warrior Gabriel Baffle Plate

The baffle plate in the Warrior Gabriel (also sold as the Olymberyl Gabriel) sits across the top of the firebox as a throat plate, directing hot gases forward and across the chamber before they exit through the flue. When it cracks or burns through, heat escapes upward instead of being retained, reducing output and increasing fuel use. This is a cast iron replacement that fits the Gabriel 5kW stove.

A worn or cracked baffle reduces the stove's ability to retain heat in the firebox, shortening burn times and increasing fuel consumption. Replacing it restores efficient combustion and protects the flue from premature wear. Check the baffle every few months of use and clear any soot build-up from above it.
