The top cleaning access plate sits beneath the removable lid of the Yarrman Boiler stove, fixed in place with four hex bolts and fire cement along a rope seal. It provides access to the rear of the boiler and the flue for thorough cleaning, and needs replacing if it warps, cracks, or the fire cement seal fails. This is the original cast iron replacement for the Horse Flame Yarrman Boiler HFB717.
